Daniel & Tina Lee

Daniel Lee is the president and founder of Lee’s Hardwood Floors, Inc. and Designer Flooring and Interiors, Inc. He has over 28 years experience in the flooring business. Daniel has owned and operated Lee’s Hardwood Floors, Inc. since 1983 and started Designer Flooring and Interiors, Inc. in 2000. 

Daniel loves to learn about new products and new innovations in the flooring industry. In 2006 he became a National Wood Flooring Association flooring inspector. That has allowed Daniel to help customers that have issues with their wood flooring get some resolution.

In addition to his love for the flooring industry and his craving to always learn more so that he can pass that knowledge onto his customers and employees, Daniel loves to spend time with his wife and four children.

Daniel’s wife Tina has a background in hardwood flooring as well. She started her career 1997 in the manufacturing side of hardwood flooring and later moved into the distribution side of the business. That is where the two met. Daniel and Tina were attending the same hardwood flooring convention in California and the rest is history. With the knowledge and know-how Daniel and Tina share, they bring unprecedented skill and experience to the company and to their customers.

Daniel and Tina pride themselves in knowing that they have a family owned and operated business.  They both work full-time at the company to ensure that every customer receives the best service with the most knowledgeable employees to deliver unmatched quality and service.

Rob Surra

Rob brings 20 years of design and sales experience to Designer Flooring & Interiors.  His background is in product design and development, interior finishes and installation, and design merchandizing results in unparalleled service that consistently exceeds the needs of the customer.  His interest in the newest and most innovative products means that Designer Flooring showcases the best in flooring and interior finishes and backs it up with knowledge and installation experience.  Rob holds patents for work done while with USG Interiors and helped define the success of the Pergo laminate product catalogue during the expansion of this international brand into North America.  Don’t be surprised to happen upon Rob playing music with one of a number of bands in the area – music and design go hand in hand and both rely on a strong collaborative effort to make the individual parts into a stronger whole.

 

Catherine Medina

Catherine joined Designer Flooring and Interiors in September 2008 as a Designer/ Administrator. In addition to assisting customers with product selection and design, she is responsible for ordering, tracking and receiving material and scheduling installation. She holds a B.S. degree from Meredith College in Interior Design with a minor in Art. While in college, she worked at Sherwin-Williams Paint Company in the wallpaper department. She also helped customers select the color and type of paint that they needed. After graduation, Catherine worked for a local Interior design firm. There she helped customers select the wallpaper, furniture, fabrics, accessories, artwork and flooring. She also assisted other designers in the management of their projects. Catherine brings an array of experience with various finishes to Designer Flooring & Interiors.
